Del Camino Connection is passionate about connecting God's people generating missional friendships that truly live out Jesus' command to be salt and light in the world.  Through our #Justrelationships model of missions we have connected churches all over the world to experience the joy of serving and learning together, being One, and experiencing the honor and privilege of representing God's kingdom here on earth - as active collaborators in His mission to make all things new.

​Since 2006 Del Camino Connection has cultivated partnerships with diverse churches from across the US that expressed a common desire to go beyond the traditional missions and paradigm and short-term team's paradigm into deeper and more meaningful missional relationships both locally and globally.  We have had the privilege of walking alongside these church leaders - serving and supporting their missions' endeavors, training and equipping their leaders and connecting them into new partnerships through the global networks we serve.  Below are some testimonies from a few of our formal partners that share how they have benefitted from their connection to DCC.

I have known Del Camino Connection (DCC) since its inception. In addition to church planting, a significant part of my ministry has focused on facilitating connections that lead to the formation of church planting networks. Without hesitation, I can say that DCC has been the most formative space in preparing me for this work—through mentoring relationships and immersive learning experiences that have shaped both my vision and practice.

In my role as Director of the Latino Initiative at City to City North America, and as one of the key catalysts of Avance Fellowship—a network of Latino/a pastors and church planters committed to advancing gospel movements in cities across the U.S. and the Hispanic Caribbean—we reached a pivotal moment when we needed a trusted partner to train and walk alongside Hispanic leaders. Our goal was to support them in planting, replanting, and revitalizing churches grounded in a holistic vision of the kingdom of God. Del Camino Connection was the natural and strategic choice.

Over the past four years, this partnership has borne remarkable fruit. The vision and mission of Avance Fellowship have been significantly strengthened and enriched through our collaboration with DCC, and we look forward to continuing to build together for the flourishing of Hispanic gospel movements.

It is easier now than ever to arrange a mission trip to some part of the world with travel-vendors promising all sorts of things.  This over-accessibility has created a host of new problems on the global mission scene: immature and unprepared travelers causing unconscious cultural and personal wreckage, repackaged forms of cultural colonization, lack of effective networking and follow-up, resource manipulation, toxic charity, and a minimization of authentic relationship formation, just to name a few.  Into this confusing milieu Del Camino Connection, led by veteran missionary and community- development specialist Tom Yaccino, shines a bright light of clarity, integrity, and effective practice.  

My name is Jeff Reed, Senior Pastor of Highland Covenant Church in Bellevue, Washington.  I have worked with Tom now over 15 years, across two church communities, and have experienced first-hand his deft cross-cultural leadership in real time.  DCC excels at preparing first-world teams to appropriately engage and serve second- and third-world contexts.
